Frog Eggs Vol. 2

They hatched!

Here is Day Two of our adventure with Wood Frogs: (To view Day One Click here)

They are pretty tiny, and would only swim if you shook the container slightly.

Day Three:

More tadpoles hatched and the older ones began swimming around more.

Day Four:

Most of the tadpoles have hatched. Now some of them swim unhindered by the need to rest. The pink color is the fish food. The yellowish cloudy mass is where the eggs were. Each egg was surrounded by a jelly like thick coating and it looks like that is what is left after tadpoles left the eggs.

Now we are preparing to move them into something bigger. They sure are cute:

Joel commented to me the other day: "I sure like homeschooling."

So do I!
