Smorgasboard (sp?)

So while my Dad is raving about the first sign of summer, we are experiencing the first signs of Autumn. Yes, the leaves are turning already.In fact they started turning July 19th!
Joshua and Rachel continue to be best buds and worst enemies, depending on the moment.
Our friends Joshua and Stephanie had their baby yesterday. A little girl, Sophia Gladys. We are very excited for them. As you can see, she is beautiful.
There is a festival every August called Fisherman's Picnic. It's a lot of fun, rides for the kids, kettle corn (sweet and salty popcorn), games and lots of other stuff. Joshua of course rode on the green tractor as he did last year. But this year he went on the ferris wheel and the airplane ride! All right Josh! Rachel stuck with the tractor/car ride that goes around in a circle. Though she did fairly well in the airplane, but wanted out before it was over.

Moving

Through a friend's neighbor, we became acquainted with a cute two bedroom house about five blocks from where we currently live. I (Renee) will take a picture and put it on the blog when I get the opportunity. The house has a front yard, a laundry room (big plus!), a small kitchen, a deck in the back, a shed, good neighbors, and plenty of storage space. We will be paying double rent for the month of September and taking our time moving in and out and cleaning. Joel and I are both at peace with God about moving into this place.
Some other highlights for the upcoming weeks:

Clyde and Pat (who we stayed with during our time in the cities with Emily) are coming! They are camping near __________ and staying for four days.

Steve and Nancy (Joel's parents) are meeting and camping with us in the middle of ___ for 7 days.

James and Debbie (Renee's parents) are tentatively coming to visit in September.

July 29

If we could see beyond today
