.Sunday.

Yesterday Ryan and Emily were married in Richfield, MN. It was a beautiful wedding, with about 175 people. The ceremony was glorifying to Jesus, we could tell immediately that Ryan and Emily both have hearts completely in love with Jesus. It was very refreshing. Reception followed, seeing family and friends and acquaintances. I (Renee) don't do too well in these kind of situations, but it went alot better than I anticipated.
One more day with Joshua and Rachel, then tomorrow - if there is room in the hospital - Renee will be induced. Please pray for courage and trust in God as we come to the hardest time of this journey yet. Whatever you are doing Jesus glorify your Name.

  3. Hi guys,
I absolutely have no words for you. I have been in near constant prayer for you today as will be tomorrow. My heart is so full of emotion. Jesus You know the peace that Joel & Renee need from You. Be with them as the time draws near for Emily's great big birthday. Fill little Emily's lungs. Heal her heart. Thank You for providing so well. I am forever amazed at how much love You shower on us. How you have orchestrated everything so beautifully.
Help Joel know how to support Renee. Help Renee as she goes through another amazing childbirth. Give her the strength she will need.
To You be all the glory. Thank you for the friends You have brought together through this website. Thank you that we have all been able to learn and grow from each other. Thank you for letting Joel & Renee know there are many people praying with them, rejoicing with them, crying with them.
Thank you Jesus for being our everything.
    In Your name, Amen

  6. Lord Jesus, please grant your peace to Renee and Joels' hearts and minds tonight and tomorrow - or until this is over.

May the word of the Lord to Joshua and writer of Hebrews, give you strength and confidence in Him. What the Lord commmands of us, He also enables in us.
    Joshua 1:9
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”
Hebrews 4:16 "Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need."
Hebrews 10:35,36 "So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised."

    With our love,
    Nana and Grandpa Pike
