Christmas 2009 found us at home celebrating as a family. On Saturday we traveled to WI to see some of Renee's family and our friends,
Joshua and Stephanie. Here are some travel pictures:

You guessed it! Those are sweet potatoes all over Madelynn's face. I (Renee) could spoon feed her while we traveled. Hurrah for a time saver!

Once we got there the kids warmed up quickly to the "strange" people and loved that Neena and Papa were there (Renee's parents).

What's Christmas without a little sledding? Here is Rachel pulling Claire in the sled.
And what about Cheese? When you go to Wisconsin you gotta get some cheese:
So we went to a
cheese factory:

Outside the factory was a Swiss cow. Joshua didn't want to be on it, and there was a sign discouraging the above pictured behavior, which of course we did not see until it was too late.
We had a great time seeing all these wonderful people and we are so thankful to my Aunt Terry for housing us all. We all made it safely home and slept through the New Year.
Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and a very happy New Year!
