Visit with Papa and Neena!

We had a great time with Neena and Papa (Renee's parents). Hiking, eating and playing. And cleaning! Yes, the grand parents helped clean the "old house". How nice of them! The 'old place' now sparkles and is cleaner than it was when we moved in! Anyway, the kids had a great time helping and eating carrots.

Moving and more

So we are in the process of moving...slowly. The house is a little smaller than I expect when I enter in with another box of stuff, it sure is hard to downsize.
We had a good time with Pat and Clyde when they came to visit us a few weeks ago. We also went camping out in the Bemidji area with Joel's parents, Steve and Nancy. That was alot of fun, and restful. And, bonus!, we got to see Mark and Kelley and Oliver three different times when we were there. Kelley had her baby, a little girl. Karis Brook, August 29 7:42am. 8lbs 7 oz. How exciting!
The next highlight of the month besides moving, is Renee's parents coming towards the end of the month.
Joshua and Rachel are doing well, besides lack of sleep lately. We all are enjoying the cooler weather and the leaves changing colors, though not too excited for winter quite yet!

Tug o war!

So at Fisherman's Picnic (the festival last weekend) there was this great tug o war. And Joel did it with me! If you look closely it's a big blow up thing and the point of it was to get your 'football' (a piece of velcro) on the touchdown thing.
It was lots of fun, even though Joel won 2 out of 3.

It's that time of year again! June Berry picking! Or as the Canadians call it: Saskatoon picking!
They make great pies, pastries, and eating. We all picked as much as we could. Though, as you can see, some of us picked from other sources!
